It is unclear that the calls for the whole year will be free or you have to pay in the future.
The beta testing of JioMeet began in May this year. It offers “enterprise-grade” host controls. It includes password protection on each of the calls, shares screen, and collaboration. It also supports multi-device login up to 5 devices.
It also has other features such as “Safe driving mode” in which the participant is in commute mode and you can easily switch from one device to another device. The host of the meeting has a right to enable the waiting room so that the participant can not enter in the meeting without the permission of the host.
They enclosed any information on whether the application can be used outside India or not. The meetings are encrypted but there is more that it is end-to-end encrypted. Through this app, millions of people in India can easily work from home and also stay connected with friends.
