Stack Overflow has released its Developer Survey 2017. This year, over 64,000 developers took part in the survey and shared their preferences. Stack Overflow has asked developers about their favorite technologies, coding habits, and work preferences, as well as how they learn, share, and level up.

For the fifth year in a row, JavaScript was the most commonly used programming language. And SQL takes second place and Java third.
