In 2022, the Tesla Gigafactory in Berlin will manufacture 30,000 H1 vehicles

Tesla, the electric car company led by Elon Musk, is allegedly expecting to begin manufacturing at its Berlin Gigafactory this month. This new facility is predicted to manufacture 30,000 cars by the end of the first half of 2022.

The Berlin Gigafactory, as per German news outlet Auto Mobil Vok, awaits final working permission from the Department of environment. The firm will be authorized to begin producing rings in the nation after it receives the necessary authorization. Musk claimed at the Giga-fest that the electric car company would commence by producing Model Y vehicles as well as millions of battery cells.

Environmental groups have lodged multiple lawsuits against the Berlin Gigafactory. Approximately 800 accusations have been lodged against the facility by residents. As per Brandenburg's economy minister, Tesla has a 95 percent probability of receiving plant clearance amid the demonstrations. 

Tesla's Berlin plant employs 12,000 people and plans to build 500,000 cars per year. Last week, Musk revealed that Tesla would relocate its headquarters from Palo Alto, California, to Austin, Texas, in Silicon Valley, where it is also establishing a factory. Tesla's electric vehicle plant in Fremont, California, will remain open and output will be boosted by 50%.
